Police in riot gear move in on Baton Rouge protesters

The Washington Post reports McKesson was charged with obstructing a highway of commerce.
PROMINENT Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson and 100 other people were arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the weekend as protests erupted over the police shooting of African-American Alton Sterling. The arrest was captured on Periscope.
Then one officer points at McKesson and approaches him.
The following day, 32-year-old Philando Castile was shot dead by a police officer during a traffic stop in Minnesota.
At about 4:50, as the camera was steadily trained on a swarm of headlights and what appear to be many policemen in the distance, the camera rattles and a voice, very close from behind states: "City police, you're under arrest". After a lengthy standoff, more police in full riot gear moved in, pinning some of the protesters as others fled.

Baton Rouge resident Marie Flowers came to the protest with her three children. She saidpeople in the north Baton Rouge neighborhood where the shooting happened are frustrated. Some departments ordered officers to pair up or more generally said they were increasing security. But Montgomery said he also doesn't want anyone to get hurt in the protests.

Baton Rouge police confiscated three rifles, three shotguns and two pistols at Saturday night's protest and were wearing helmets, shields and body armour.
WNO, a local NPR affiliate, confirmed on Facebook on Sunday morning that one of its journalists, Ryan Kailath, remained in police custody in Baton Rouge on one count of obstruction of the highway.
