The Galaxy Note 7 has the same metal and glass design as the Galaxy S7 and is 7.9-millimetres thick.
The new Galaxy Note, Samsung Electronics flagship premium phone with pen stylus, has been unveiled in NY on Tuesday in the same features of curved glass at edges, powerful chip set and camera, and large AMOLED screen as the S7 series that helped to revive Samsung phone reputation, plus an iris scanner.
In addition to fingerprint scanning, you can now use your eyes to unlock your phone. Samsung Galaxy note 7 is water resistant and you can expect it to withstand falls and bumps.
The Galaxy Note 7 features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) curved dual-edge Super Amoled display having pixel density of 518ppi with Always On display feature. This port is also the reason why Samsung made a Gear VR headset that has exchangeable port to work with the Note 7. When it comes to availability and pricing in the USA, most people who pick up the Galaxy Note 7 will be doing so from their respective carriers, with pre-orders starting tomorrow at T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T, while the phone will go on sale later this month on August 19th. Right now, we know the Galaxy Note 7 will be available from at least one retailer with a £699 price tag. It measures 6.0 by 2.9 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and weighs 6.0 ounces, which is only a few hairs larger than the Edge (5.9 by 2.9 by 0.3 inches, 5.5 ounces).
Soberanes Fire: Unattended, Illegal Campfire Started the Blaze
Hot, dry temperatures often combined with winds have made firefighting conditions hard , destroying homes and forcing evacuations. In neighboring Bridger-Teton National Forest, a fire that has burned about 45 square miles was 81 percent contained.
According to reports, the Galaxy Note 7 will be available here on the same day as the global availability, which means we just have to wait till August 19.
The handset comes in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx color options and will go on sale on August 19th. That's despite the fact that the new Note S7 comes with a USB-C type of connector, whereas previous Samsung phones used micro USB plugs.
The Note 7 differs in that it has support for microSD cards and 64GB of internal storage, compared to the S7's 32GB, and its battery has been increased to 3,500mAh over the Note 5's 3,000mAh cell. Also, the curvature of the screen is different from the S7 Edge, so the Note 7 has more flat surface area.
