McCain, Rubio Re-election Bids Move Forward With Republican Primary Wins

According to Politico, pulling the ads saved the Murphy campaign $800,000, and the lack of presence did nothing to hurt him, as he had 58.9 percent of the vote to his name with 89 percent of precincts reporting.
Both of his possible Democratic rivals, Reps. Congressman Alan Grayson says he won't back Murphy in November.
While Grayson has more consistently voted for Democratic priorities and Obama's agenda, many party leaders thought he was unelectable because of his brash demeanor and domestic issues that have put him in the spotlight.
"The balance of the Senate and the outcome of the presidential election are all hanging on Florida", Rubio predicted in a fundraising appeal late on Tuesday.
But that was not the case, at least in closely watched nominating races in Florida.
Rubio began this year with hopes of being the face of generational change in his party on the road to the White House.
Murphy also had to deal with reports of enhancing his resume and questions about whether he worked as a CPA in Florida and his company's contracts cleaning up oil in the Gulf of Mexico.
"Patrick Murphy is an enthusiastic supporter of the nuclear deal with Iran, " Rubio told his cheering supporters at the Embassy Suites in Kissimmee, Florida after calling his opponent "nothing more than an old-fashioned liberal" who supports ideas that are risky for the country.
The congressman said he would fight for Floridians in the Senate "every single day". "What haven't we seen in Florida this year?"
The political crosscurrents buffeting the presidential race are playing out across the state, with contests pitting liberals against centrists, conservatives against archconservatives. If Democrats sweep all four seats seen as competitive in November, that Republican advantage could be reduced to 14-13.
Dell sets official date for EMC acquisition
RSA is EMC's security division; VMware is a cloud and virtualization software company and Pivotal a cloud infrastructure firm. Michael Dell founded the company that would bear his name in 1984 when he was a college student assembling PCs.
The outspoken Grayson, an attorney and former telecommunications company president, has represented Florida's 8th and 9th congressional districts.
The ride here has been bumpy, in a distinctly Florida way. Kelli Ward - who attacked Mr. McCain as too willing to compromise with Democrats but struggled to raise the money and amass widespread support - and two other Republicans on the ballot.
Rubio will square off against Rep. Patrick Murphy in his re-election bid. The accusations came after Sen.
Grayson denied the abuse allegations.
Who wins in November may determine which party controls the Senate next year.
In the House, things are even more askew. The two men emerged as the winners in their respective primaries.
A four-way race to fill Grayson's seat south of Orlando includes his wife and his former district manager. Wasserman Schultz is running against Tim Canova in a congressional primary.
Taddeo has the party's backing.
In the Miami-area 26th District, Democrats former Rep. Joe Garcia and businesswoman Annette Taddeo were locked in a tight contest for the right to challenge incumbent Carlos Curbelo (R), who is at the top of national Democrats' target lists. "But he really disappointed me". "The stakes for our nation could not be higher".
Since before bowing out of the presidential primary, Sanders has used his substantial online fundraising prowess to benefit Canova, a first-time candidate, raising hundreds of thousands for his long shot campaign.
