Wisconsin tabs QB Hornibrook to start vs. Michigan St.

"Wisconsin is a lot like us in a lot of ways - big game against LSU". Just don't ask IL. So, that makes them the best of the rest at the moment I guess. Wisconsin follows Saturday's game at MI, hosting Ohio State, at Iowa and hosting Nebraska.
As for the schedule, Wisconsin is embracing the challenge after a few years of getting some breaks because of Big Ten scheduling quirks. This will boost the confidence of the Cornhuskers going into its Big Ten opener next week at Northwestern. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Wisconsin is 89-34. They've been the consistent challengers to Ohio State, who is 103-19 in that stretch. J.T. Barrett is one of the most electrifying players in the country, and he made that known with his four passing touchdowns Saturday. All 4 of those touchdown passes were hauled in by Noah Brown, who people should maybe start covering. It's a safe assumption that the game will be close.
This will be the fifth time a top-10 Michigan State will face Wisconsin, the first since 1961.
The Wisconsin backfield tandem of Dare Ogunbowale and Bradrick Shaw combined for 127 yards on the ground on 35 carries, which was somewhat of a bright spot, especially when juxtaposed with the team's stout run defense that held Georgia State to 33 rushing yards on 24 carries. That game ended in a 16-13 win for Michigan State in overtime in Madison, less than a year after the Badgers broke the Spartans hearts in the inaugural Big Ten championship game.
MI (3-0): Was really looking forward to seeing Jim Harbaugh get handed his first dumb loss at MI, but Colorado ruined that from ever happening. The Wolverines have too much talent, too much skill and too much Jabrill Peppers. That guy is something else. Pretty surprising, when you think about it. No, this isn't the OR team we're used to seeing, but Tommy Armpunt put in probably the best game of his career, and his receivers are just plain scary. 1 INT with 4 sacks on defense.
The Wisconsin Badgers are 3-0 this season after beating Georgia State by a score of 23-17 in week 3.
The game could come down to Wisconsin tailback Corey Clement and the Badger offensive line. That sounds like fun.
IN? (2-0): This is where things get dicey. The last four times they have traveled to East Lansing, Sparty has prevailed. "It's going to be a fist fight, and I can't wait for Saturday". "He always wanted to put in the extra work".
