Pete Carroll: Russell Wilson 'ready to go' for Seahawks vs Jets

Vannett is still working back from a sprained ankle suffered in the preseason but has a chance to play this week.
Seattle (2-1) played it most complete game of 2016 against NFC West rival San Francisco in Week 3.
Regarding Spiller, Carroll says he knew him from his recruiting days at USC and was happy to add him Wednesday after the New Orleans Saints cut him two weeks earlier.
Wilson, who already was battling an ankle injury, suffered a MCL sprain in last week's win over San Francisco but vows to be under center despite reports that said he'd miss up to three weeks with the latest injury.
KEYS TO THE GAME: The Seahawks struggled to move the ball against the strong defensive lines of Miami and Los Angeles to open the season, and the offense could be in for another tough day against a Jets defense ranked third against the run.
"Yes, he made it through".
"This is a really good month for our offensive line specifically", Cable said. Reed sat out Friday and was listed as questionable.
"He's got a lot to learn".
The knee injury is the second ailment to bother Wilson this season.
"But it's great to see him back out here", Carroll said. The team goes when he goes and with the addition of Matt Forte, who's been consistent in three games, they are a great offense. "He's had enough plays and games, and enough action". Ifedi went through a full week of practice and is likely to start at right guard. "So I think he's just getting acclimated to what we're doing". Reed did not practice on Friday, but he will also be a game-time decision. "He can play Sunday". New Orleans unexpectedly released Spiller Sept. 13 after a little more than one season with the Saints.
"It was pretty exciting to get a guy like that", Carroll said of the former star at Clemson the Bills drafted in the first round in 2010. I can't even tell if he was missed. "I've known of him for a long time, watched his career".
"Hopefully, I get in there and we keep improving, keep the trajectory going forward".
"He had a good week. We'll see where he fits in when we get to game time", Carroll said of Spiller.
"That's why I kind of always preach just staying level and trying to be the same guy", Fitzpatrick said.
"He could play Sunday", the coach said.
"I haven't really tried to politic".
"He could play Sunday", Carroll repeated, with a laugh. The impressive second-round pick from Alabama is listed as questionable. Whether or not he will be at 100 percent remains to be seen.
JETS WRs Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker were limited to a combined 4-58 receiving in Week 3 loss. "I think a lot of it is how you come back from adversity, on the field, off the field, just in life in general". The rookie third-round pick is back from a high-ankle sprain. The Jets were actually in the game until the fourth quarter when he threw multiple back-breaking interceptions to finally put the nail in his own team's coffin.
