Hacked email: Clinton campaign tried to move back Illinois primary date

Clinton spokesperson Brian Fallon on Wednesday responded to the controversy by tweeting, "Latest faux controversy out of @Wikileaks hack: Accusing Jen Palmieri, who is Catholic, of being anti-Catholic". In his note, the subject line reads "You should hire me for this", to which Ms. Palmieri added in her forward to John Podesta that "Harris is volunteering".
Last week, WikiLeaks published thousands of emails stolen from Podesta's personal emailaccount, offering a glimpse into the inner workings of Clinton's campaign. "Apologies are like her Achilles heel".
Longtime Democratic policy adviser Neera Tanden emailed Podesta that Clinton's "inability to just do a national interview and communicate genuine feelings of remorse and regret is now, I fear, becoming a character problem (more so than honesty)".
The interview Tanden is referring to is presumably the one conducted by NBC's Andrea Mitchell on September 4, 2015, in which Hillary said she was "sorry that this has been confusing to people".
Still unable to lay the email issue to rest in 2015, Clinton's aides talked about their effort to persuade Clinton to use the decision to turn over her server to the Justice Department as an "opportunity" for her to be seen as having dealt with the issue.
Clinton, he said, is an "absolute disgrace" not just to Catholics, but to anyone.
The emails were leaked in the third round of releases of Podesta's emails by WikiLeaks.
Clinton advisor Cheryl Mills was equally secretive, telling Plouffe, "I have shared that we met with (Hillary Clinton) and (John Podesta); and with no others".

Also, Director Catherine Ann Halligan sold 400 shares of the business's stock in a transaction on Wednesday, September 21st. LLC now owns 483 shares of the company's stock valued at $118,000 after buying an additional 262 shares during the period.
Are Video Games Getting More Intellectual?
And because of this, games that focus on history, geography, or other elements of the real world can now almost be educational. It may sound somewhat hard to believe, but there have already been artistic exhibitions for people’s Tilt Brush designs.
The Clinton campaign has not formally verified the authenticity of the e-mails.
On Wednesday, as Clinton landed in Las Vegas, Podesta's seemingly tweeted, "I've switched teams". Podesta references possible infighting with Richardson and President Bill Clinton, saying he thought they patched things up.
"Is contraceptive coverage an issue around which that could happen?" she asked in her February 10, 2012, email.
FBI Director James Comey declined to recommend prosecutors go after Clinton for storing classified materials on her private server, but called her actions "extremely careless".
Predictably in this age of canyon-deep political divisions, the actual content of the hacked e-mails is now being overshadowed by partisan squabbling about the motives of those who stole them and made them public, and about the honesty of the news organisations sifting through them and assessing their importance.
Just last week the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Election Security claimed in a joint statement that Russian Federation is behind the "Guccifer 2.0" hacks of Democrat officials' emails.
Hillary Clinton calls progressive Sanders supporters "basement dwellers" and Trump supporters "deplorables" and her husband defines Southerners as "standard rednecks".
"If she thinks we can get to Labor Day without taking press questions, I think that's suicidal", he wrote. "But email jokes in Iowa usually end up badly and don't we want to move on?"
