Share

Four students, three male and one female, were shot Tuesday in the parking lot of a San Francisco high school, according to police.

The June Jordan School for Equity in San Francisco is shown in an undated Google Maps Street View image. The police then went on to search every classroom for the shooter but realized that the shooter had probably left the premises before they even arrived.

School officials put the campus on lock-out as officers searched the buildings room-by-room because they were concerned they were dealing with an active shooter situation.

According to CNN affiliate KRON, investigators are now searching for multiple suspects who may have targeted a female student who is now in critical condition.

The San Francisco Examiner reported a fourth victim walked into San Francisco General Hospital with injuries.
