"Thanks and I appreciate everyone's concern", tweeted Phillips Monday.

"I am ok today and back to work at what I love", Phillips wrote on Twitter. "I get the big hit award for the week". Phillips was released from the hospital and should return to the team immediately.

"He's sitting in the back of the meeting just now".

"He's sore. But he's feeling good", Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said.

The Broncos defensive coordinator is OK but should at least get a helmet sticker - if he had a helmet. "But he's good. He's himself today". No kids were harmed during the playing of that game.

"After the fact, you go, 'Shoot, maybe we should have run it once or twice down there", Rivers said. He told reporters after the game he was "sorry". Phillips seemed to hit his head on the turf and didn't move for a few seconds before moving his arms and head. Phillips disputed a specific description of the incident.

Less than 24 hours after being involved in a scary sideline collision, Wade Phillips is already making jokes about the incident.

The Broncos defeated the Chargers by a score of 27-19. They were comforted by his exit as he waved the No. 1 finger at them as he left.

"I want to run it all the time, but I don't have time to be yelling at Phil, like, 'Why aren't we running it?' I'm not going to do that".

"I get paid to block", Franklin said.
