Suspect held after one killed in suburban NY club shooting

At least one person is dead and multiple others injured after a shooting at a nightclub on Christmas Eve.

The suspect reportedly had been kicked out of the party after causing trouble and when he allegedly returned and started shooting in the lobby.

Police have arrested a man they say opened fire on a packed suburban New York City nightclub, killing two people and wounding four others.

According to the New York Daily News, club owner O'Neil Bandoo was shot as he was rejecting a group of rowdy customers from a late-night Christmas party.

"Security personnel immediately tackled him", Adinaro said. "No person, no family should ever spend Christmas like this", the broadcaster reported Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas as saying.
