Shah Rukh Khan unveils Mariyappan First Look Poster;Dhanush's biopic on Mariyappan Thangavelu

Filmmaker Aishwarya Dhanush Rajinikanth's next Tamil directorial will be a biopic on Indian Paralympic high jumper Mariyappan Thangavelu, and it was announced on Sunday to coincide with the New Year. Aishwaryaa, who is also celebrating her 35th birthday on January 1, thanked SRK for his support, and wrote, "Thank you so much".

Actor Shah Rukh Khan released the poster of the movie on Twitter and congratulated Ms. Aishwaryaa on the venture. "A very happy new year to you and the family".

The first look of Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush's upcoming film, Mariyappan is out.

The biopic is titled after the high jumper - Mariyappan and is scheduled to hit screens sometime this year. In the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games which were held in Rio De Janeiro, Mariyappan won gold for India in the High Jump in the T - 42 Category and made the country proud! Aishwaryaa's Mariyappan will release in both Hindi and English, reveals the poster.

Verlraj will handle cinematography for the film and GK Prasanna will take care of the edits. While Sean Roaldan has been roped in to compose music for the movie, cinematographer R. Velraj and film-maker Raju Murugan are also a part of the team working on the film.
