Galaxy S8 Vs Galaxy Note 8: Samsung Killing Off Its Own Phones?
Jan 18 2017 by Joanne Wise
Samsung is looking to get back on track with their best-selling Galaxy lineup after the Note 7 exploding phone fiasco previous year.
If one will base on the specification leaks surfacing online, Apple should really be anxious with Samsung Galaxy S8. Because that means their hardware design and software were not. New reportssuggest that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature an iris scanner along with an autofocus front camera. The device may also come with S Pen support while the fingerprint scanner may be embedded in the display screen. While their Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices were welcomed with open arms, things took a downward turn for the firm with the arrival of their Note 7. When Apple originally announced the program, they said that only a "very small number" of phones were plagued with the battery issue - but that number has just kept growing.
The device will leave you $849 lighter, if Riccolo's news turns out to be accurate. Recent rumors indicate the company might include this one in the Edge variant of the phone.
The South Korean Giant is expected to unveil its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8.
Based on the design of the phones shown, the S8 won't have a physical home button. Some rumors say that Samsung might get rid of the 3.5mm jack for USB-C audio, but this is unlikely.
According to reports, the alleged 3D renders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has been revealed on GSMArena after a tip from an unknown case manufacturer. The curved edges of the smartphone appear more prominent in the pictures as compared to Samsung's S7 series unveiled a year ago.
The Korean Herald was told by an LG representative that the G6 will also feature copper "heat pipes" which conduct heat away from the phone's SoC.
The leaked outright price does seem a little bit higher than what we've been expecting.
