'The Flash' Also Brings Back Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne, but How?

The Flash: Season 3 will feature the return of a character who died during the show's first season.
Hot on the heels of Laurel Lance's supposed resurrection on Arrow, another pivotal Arrowverse character is now set to return to our screens - and no, we're not talking about Tommy Merlyn (although he's obviously Prometheus, right?). Though there have been reports that Ronnie will soon make a comeback, it was not him who's confirmed to appear in the show. This is a series that has at times played on the idea of destiny, and the Reverse-Flash certainly did his part to manipulate Eddie, making it clear that he would the one forgotten in history.
Just in case you didn't have enough great news already when it comes to "The Flash", there's now this: You are getting Rick Cosnett for at least one upcoming episode this season.
Rick Cosnett's return came following rumors that Ronnie will return even after his death. Cosnett's return may also pave the way for Iris' safety and survival to be secured.
Roku Unveils Improved Mobile App
The "What's On" is a new entry that effectively replaces "My Feed", making it easier to keep up with content you're interested in. Stretching across the bottom of the app, you'll find shortcuts to your channels, the remote, What's On, Photos+, and settings.
This is especially news-worthy considering that Eddie Thawne is well, dead. "He is always looking into the past for answers, so another Flashback Eddie is a possibility", the report said.
When "The Flash" returns for its third season on January 24, will Eddie Thawne come to Iris' rescue and save her from a tragic end? Amell then returned as Ronnie's Earth-2 doppelgänger, Deathstorm, in "Welcome to Earth-2" and Cosnett returned when Barry (Grant Gustin) ran back to episode 1×11 to seek the Reverse Flash's (Tom Cavanagh) help in "Flash Back".
Eddie Thawne gave up his life so he can prevent his descendant Eobard to live.
