SUNY Geneseo has named several western Queens students to its Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester, including Middle Village's Andrew Arcese, Woodside's Tenzin Gyalpo, Jackson Heights' Emily Lee Tran, Corona's Satnam Singh and Sunnyside's Fatima Elmarakbi. Dean's list students have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Clay County students earning these honors are Danielle Piper Davis, Hannah C. Frain, Carter Maddox Hudgins and Alexandra L. Nicola, all of Fleming Island, made the Dean's List.
The University of North Dakota, Fargo, has released the fall semester President's Roll of Honor and the Dean's List.

Daniel Martin of Remer was named to the honors list (3.0-3.4 GPA) at Vermilion Community College, Ely. Named to the President's List were Allison Leigh Cassada and Nydia C Ceronmiranda, both of Orange Park. Among those named to the dean's list is Caitlin Kaufman of Effingham, College of Health & Human Sciences.
To qualify for the Honor Roll, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0, or "all A's").
Jackson Heights' Emilio Palacios earned his bachelor's degree in computer art after meeting requirements for graduation at SUNY Oneonta.
