PS4 Free Multiplayer Week Announced for February 17th
Feb 17 2017 by Joanne Wise
Free online multiplayer access begins February 17 at 12:01 AM Pacific and runs to Sunday, February 23 at 11:59 PM Pacific.
Not everyone can afford to go all-in on a subscription to PlayStation Plus, which grants multiplayer features for a number of PlayStation 4 games (as well as free monthly goodies, including a handful of downloadable titles).
Players in the European Union aren't exactly being left out in the cold, but they are getting the short end of the stick. That's only five days.
If you've got some multiplayer PS4 games you'd like to try but aren't now subscribed to PlayStation Plus, there's a new promotion coming up that you'll probably want to hear about.
'The Vinyl Cafe' Radio Show Host Stuart McLean Dies at 68
McLean is professor emeritus at Ryerson University and former director of the broadcast division of the School of Journalism. The show aired on the CBC and on public radio stations in the USA and did several tours of live shows across the continent.
The TRUTH about Danny Dyer's EastEnders exit revealed
An insider of the show spoke to The Sun about the decision: "It is best that he takes some time out to sort his life out". He told the Daily Star he'd be interested in playing the next Doctor: "I could see myself in the scarf and all that.
"So you don't really have anything to lose by trying it out and you never know you might find that PlayStation Plus takes you to places you never thought possible where you can meet like minded gamers all looking for people to play with".
The idea of the trial is to give non-subscribers the opportunity to sample the multiplayer elements of the games in their collection, perhaps for the first time.
It's unclear if those taking advantage of the free online event will get the chance to download the PlayStation Plus February 2017 games released by Sony earlier this month as well.
