Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai passed away on Saturday.
Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai has died in Mumbai after several days of illness. Krishnaraj was an Army biologist. He was in hospital for over a month. Aishwarya's spokesperson had confirmed his ill health earlier, "All I can tell you right now is that yes, Krishnaraj Rai, Aishwarya Rai's father is hospitalised and is in the ICU".
He was visited by Aishwarya's in-laws Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan while he was in hospital.

Krishnaraj Rai is survived by his wife Vrinda, son Aditya Rai, daughter-in-law Shrima Rai, daughter Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and son-in-law Abhishek Bachchan. Recently, she was spotted at daughter Aaradhya's sports day at school. He was in the intensive care at the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai and his condition was critical.
