Riverview woman's son charged in her birthday murder

Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon said in a news release that 39-year-old Tahirih Lua D'Angelo was killed in her townhome Monday.
Deputies say 12-year-old Ethurel Maxcy was last seen on Monday, March 20 at 6 p.m. when he walked away from his home on Watermark Drive.
A Riverview man accused of plotting to kill his mother and carrying out the plan on her birthday had his first appearance in court Wednesday.
Carmona stole D'Angelo's vehicle to pick up his half-sister at day care, and he was arrested that afternoon, according to the sheriff's office.
"He felt that there were some ongoing family issues", Lusczynski said about what she could reveal was his possible motive in a press conference Tuesday.
