Why It’s Too Soon to Count Steve Bannon Out

The White House has repeatedly denied reports of internal strife, which have frequently dogged Trump's administration since Inauguration Day. Whenever some news comes out, Colbert and his staff are there to make fun of it.

Further reports have suggested President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner is the one who helped push out Bannon.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster suggested that the removal of chief White House strategist Steve Bannon from the Principals Committee of the National Security Council (NSC) doesn't say much about Bannon's standing in the White House.

It was a shocking move when President Trump appointed former media executive Steve Bannon to the National Security Council back in January. Conservatives are an endangered species in your White House.

The meeting was called after multiple reports that Donald Trump may be considering a reorganization of his staff, which many believe would be the end of Bannon and Priebus in the White House. And in fairness, the Trump and Kushner families both have long histories of donating to and endorsing Democrats (including Hillary Clinton). right up until Donald made a decision to run for president, as a Republican. White House spokeswoman Hope Hicks told CNN that the goal of Kushner's visit to Iraq was to get an update on anti-ISIS efforts from USA and Iraqi officials.

Search for suspect in Facebook homicide video widens to several states
Cleveland's police chief says a manhunt is underway for a suspect that police say killed a man and posted video of it on Facebook. Facebook confirmed to Scene that though Stephens did go live "at one point during the day", the murder was not broadcast live.

On March 31st TRUNEWS reported that Preibus' deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh was leaving her White House position to play a role in at the Pro-Trump Super-PAC America First Policies, where former Trump campaign national spokeswomen Katrina Pierson now serves.

Meanwhile, Mr Kushner's star has been on the rise.

Asked by reporters Thursday whether his administration needed a shakeup, Trump said he was proud of what his staff had accomplished.

The president is rumored to be considering replacing White House whipping boy Priebus with several candidates, including House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Goldman Sachs alum/Trump economic adviser Gary Cohn. He's also played a key role in Trump's foreign policy, including the US relationship with China. Earlier this year, Trump's national security adviser, Michael Flynn, resigned when it became clear he had discussed sanctions with Kislyak and misrepresented those conversations to Vice President Mike Pence.
