Will Samsung soon unveil a flexible OLED smartphone? Going forward the Galaxy S8 series will most likely be the first to get all Nougat updates among Samsung devices this year. Both the handsets pack 4GB of RAM and come with 64GB inbuilt storage while also supporting expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB). It all started out with the Galaxy S4 (no fear of misfortune) and seems to be continuing in the form of Galaxy S8 Active. The smartphone is equipped with an Exynos 8895 10nm SoC (which is the version that will be launched in India), while there's an alternate variant that uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.
AT&T will exclusively retail the Galaxy S8 Active, a special edition of Samsung's upcoming Android flagship that's expected to feature a more robust body, sources with knowledge of the matter told SamMobile. We look forward to receiving new information on the toughest phone in the Galaxy S8 family. We've also never seen a rugged phone with a curved screen before. However, Koh said that Samsung marketing costs for the Galaxy S8 are similar to those of its predecessor from a year ago, with some extra money going to rebuilding users' trust in the brand after the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
The Galaxy S8 Active is expected to come with a larger battery than seen on the S8, not unlike previous Active variants. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ have 8MP front-facing camera. Nonetheless, it appears that Samsung's flagship device will not have Bixby personal assistant upon release.
