Nintendo Switch Sales Surpass 906000 Units in March

According to data gathered by NPD Group, the new system sold 906,000 units in North America within the first month it was on sale. On the other hand, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Switch's launch title - had been managed to have 925,000 copies sold in March.
For comparison, the Wii U sold 890,000 units in the United States during its first six weeks on the market. This is thanks in no small part to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well. Not only has the game earned unprecedented critical acclaim, but it's also the fastest-selling Nintendo game, with over 1.3 million units sold across both the Wii U and Switch versions in the month of March. The game also saw over 460,000 sales on the Wii U.
Some people have also noted that when purchasing the Nintendo Switch bundles they're receiving the guide books, extra controller and a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild but not the system. No real details were provided on whether or not the Switch version will differ in any way or provide local multiplayer support with multiple Switch units - but you'd hope that was on the cards.
Cavs hold on, Irving scores 37
The Cleveland Cavaliers are averaging 113 points on 54.5 percent shooting and allowing 109.5 points on 50.3 percent shooting. It was that quasi-trap for the Cavs, who left Quicken Loans Arena with a 2-0 series lead, though the wins were wobbly.
Given the portable nature of the Nintendo Switch, you'll be able to play it pretty much anywhere you go. That means that Nintendo sold more of this game for Nintendo Switch than it sold Nintendo Switch systems.
Nintendo always strives to offer consumers something fun, new and different, said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of Americas President and COO. This is suggested to be because a portion of buyers were buying more than one copy: one as a collector's item and the other to actually play. "Looking ahead, we are excited to share more about our plans for Xbox One, including launching the world's most powerful console - Project Scorpio - alongside an awesome lineup of new Xbox One games".
The company noted that it's working on better distribution for the Switch, especially with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe right around the corner this month, and ARMS and Splatoon 2 releasing later in the summer. It will probably result in a mass following, similar to the Sony PS Vita and might very well become one of the must have consoles for 2017 and even beyond.
