Xiaomi confirms Xiaomi Mi Max 2 presentation next week

On the unofficial side of things, the Mi Max 2 is expected to be sold in 2 variants.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the successor to Xiaomi Mi Max is arriving on May 25 as confirmed by Xiaomi. The official poster on Weibo shows that the company will host a news conference on May 25, 2017 at 2 PM.
Xiaomi is all set for the launch of the Mi Max 2 with its huge 6.4 inch display. However, it seems that at the time of the presentation of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 we may discover the smartphone being displayed with an updated battery of 5,000 mAh, a difference of 150 mAh compared to last year's model.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 could come with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device runs Android 6.0.1 and is backed by a 4850mAh non-removable battery. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the Mi Max came with USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Infrared, FM, 3G and 4G and sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. If the rumours are to be believed, the upcoming Mi Max 2 would see a significant overhaul in nearly all departments, be it software, hardware, camera or any other. The rear camera will be capable of shooting videos at 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution.
