Warriors boss Kerr will travel to Cleveland, but might not coach

Everything Kerr said is technically true. I would say that I've gotten a little bit better. The Warriors point guard said he still thinks about that play, but he's not going to let it change his style - even on the biggest stage.
"I should be saying this with more emotion because it's hard for me", Warriors General Manager Bob Myers said last week, as part of his own update of Kerr's condition. "On one hand, Mike has to coach the team as he sees fit ... as though it's his team".
Brown wasn't around during the past two Finals when the Warriors faced the Cavaliers, so he has watched some of last year's Finals. James, a veteran National Basketball Association player who had to go through many tough teams, gives this Warriors squad credit for being a tough match-up but he isn't quick to say this is the toughest team he's faced.
In his absence, associate head coach Mike Brown has stepped up and done a commendable job.

Saudi Arabia immediately cut diplomatic ties and other Sunni Arab countries in the Gulf have taken a harder line on Iran since. Rouhani, known as pragmatist and reformist has engaged his country in foreign policy changes.
Game one will start on Thursday, June 1, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC, and it will take place on Golden State's home court as they host the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers for the NBA Finals 2017. That's why I'm here talking to you now.
Kerr said he took part in every meeting and film session with the team during the Western Conference finals series against the San Antonio Spurs and also addressed the team.
"Mike's been unbelievable", Kerr said. "But we're doing OK". And so he has to make those decisions as if it's his team, but he's also taking my advice and counsel behind the scenes. That's hugely painful for him, more than anybody, and I wish, and he wishes, and I'm sure you guys do, too, that there's something that could get him there. "When you're not feeling good, it's no fun to not be engaged in something". Brown didn't want to get the team sick and stayed home in case his illness was a virus.
"I told the team the good news is the team is really healthy", Kerr joked. "But the bad news is, the coaches are dropping like flies".
