Throughout the day, MTV will call on its audience to send messages of love and support via social media, and for those in regions including the UK, US and Ireland to donate to the "We Love Manchester Emergency Fund" established by Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross.

After a sobering fortnight, that saw the United Kingdom hit by terrorist attacks in both Manchester and, on Saturday night, London, last night's One Love concert was both a welcome respite from the horror, and a way of honouring the victims.
