The Bat-Signal Will Be Lit In Tribute To Adam West

As part of a special event to pay tribute to the actor, DC Comics has announced that at 9 PM on June 15 on the steps of Los Angeles City Hall on Spring Street the Mayor of the city, Eric Garcetti and the Chief of the Police Department, Charlie Beck will be lighting the Bat-Signal.

Using a spotlight, the city will project the infamous signal onto the tower of Los Angeles City Hall, located at 200 N. Spring Street.

Batman may be Gotham's hero, but on Thursday night, the Bat-Signal will be shining bright in Los Angeles to honor the late Adam West. Adam West will be honoured with a bat signal tribute in the Los Angeles night sky this Thursday (15.06.17). "He was and always will be our hero".

"Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight, and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans' lives", West's family said in a statement Saturday.

This fitting tribute to the iconic Adam West will bring together very special Bat-guests and Bat-fans as they honor the legendary star.

"Adam West was such a wonderful actor & so kind", Star Wars actor Mark Hamill shared via Twitter.

The only good news for his fans is that West's last project Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, an animated film set in the same universe as the original series where he has voiced the iconic character will be soon seen on screen.
