Hamas, PFLP, ISIS Buck over Claiming Recent Jerusalem Attack

The group's affiliate in Egypt, Sinai Province, claimed responsibility for a rocket fired into southern Israel in April, but it hit a greenhouse and no one was harmed.
The incidents were the latest in a wave of violence that has claimed the lives of at least 250 Palestinians, 41 Israelis, two Jordanian tourists, two US nationals, two refugees from Sudan and Eritrea and a British tourist since mid-September 2015.
Israeli police said no connection had been found between the three Palestinians who carried out the fatal attack and any organisation. The Israeli soldiers accompanied by an engineering team raided the houses belonging to the families of the three attackers and surveyed them.
Two of the Palestinians attacked police officers with guns and knives while the third stabbed the policewoman, police say. He said it was a move to "confuse the media and distort the reputation of the Palestinian resistance".
Israel had eased restrictions on the entrance of Palestinians from the West Bank for Ramadan, including permitting daily family visits during Sundays through Thursdays.
The Tel Aviv regime has tried to change the demographic makeup of Jerusalem al-Quds over the past decades by constructing settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.
Israeli officials have pointed out in recent days that if Hamas would use the money it diverts to terrorist projects such as the tunnels, for electricity and other vital services, it would have sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
It has claimed several rocket attacks from the Sinai into Israel.
For its part, the PFLP issued a statement taking pride in and praising the operation, saying that Baraa and Osama -two of the three who had staged the attack- belonged to its ranks.
The Old City had been crowded with tens of thousands of Muslim worshippers.
Israeli authorities, meanwhile, say nearly 50 Israelis have been killed in attacks carried out by Palestinians over the same period. Others have been killed in clashes with Israeli troops.
ISIS claimed the attack shortly after it occurred, but Hamas rejected it Saturday.
Many have taken place in the vicinity of Damascus Gate.
Palestinians want to establish an independent state in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, territories Israel captured in the 1967 Middle East War. She was imbued with a sense of mission of defending the State of Israel.
