During an interview with Fox News host Chris Wallace, Sekulow defended Trump's decision to fire FBI Director James Comey.
The attorney did the rounds on the morning shows on Sunday, appearing on CNN's "State of the Union", where he argued Trump is not under investigation, despite the President tweeting "I am being investigated" last week.
On "Face The Nation" on CBS, Sekulow clarified that he's so confident that there isn't any investigation into the president because they have not received any notification from the special counsel's office.
"Just because you haven't been notified doesn't mean you're not under investigation", Cuomo replied.
"You've now said that he is being investigated", Wallace fired back. Trump also bragged to visiting Russian diplomats that getting rid of Comey relieved him of great pressure because of Russia..
Now his lawyer says that's not true.
The Justice Department has said Muller's work at the firm does not disqualify him from leading the investigation. "The president is not and has not been under investigation for obstruction". The department said last month that under professional responsibility rules, Mueller may participate in matters involving his former firm's clients as long as he wasn't involved in representing them and has no confidential information about them.
Escalation in Syria was almost inevitable
The U.S. needs now to delineate the lines of advance for Syria's Kurds, and to talk to the Russians, Syrians and Iranians. Those moves have led to clashes between armed groups backed by the USA and those backed by the Syrian government .
How cats became domestic
Cats were mummified and formally mourned by their owners, who shaved their eyebrows off when their kitties died. That indicates cats had been taken there by boat with the first farmers colonizing Europe, Geigl said.
Friday is the deadline set by the House Intelligence Committee for the White House to produce "any White House recordings or memoranda of Comey's conversations with President Trump (that) now exist or have in the past".
It's unclear where that process stands.
Kushner's contacts with Russians during the transition have been scrutinized as part of the widening probes into whether Trump's team coordinated with Moscow during the election. His tweet about a WITCH HUNT conducted by bad people is just a Trumpian version of what appears to be the official White House line that this is somehow a partisan attempt to delegitimize the Trump presidency.
"Those reports in The Washington Post were false", Sekulow said. Trump, whose combative instincts are to lash out and not retreat, has given his legal team a clear direction: fight, fight, fight.
Attorney Jay Sekulow is stressing that "the president has not been and is not under investigation".
Sekolow says the tweet was in response to a WashingtonPoststory that ran with five unnamed sources.
Another is, indeed, the possibility that Trump may have obstructed justice in his repeated efforts to quash the investigation.
