Morgan hopes England new boys shine against South Africa

Following criticism from two former Proteas - Ashwell Prince and Herschelle Gibbs - over what they perceive to be nit-picking on his part, De Villiers maintains he's not dictating when he wants to play worldwide cricket. "You would want him playing as much cricket as he can, a bit like Adil (Rashid) did and get around the world and play as well. I just want to score some runs again and captain the team to a few good wins", he said.
The Test captain, Faf Du Plessis, is one of those missing out, as he heads home to attend the birth of his first child, with AB De Villiers set to take the reins in the three-game mini-series.
England too were undone in their quest for Champions Trophy glory with a semi-final defeat by eventual champions Pakistan.
"It was a tough few days after the Champions Trophy, to go through that phase of reflecting and to hear some of the criticism", de Villiers told reporters ahead of Wednesday's three-match series opener in Southampton.
With a total of 20 runs from his three innings in the Champions Trophy, on the back of a quiet IPL, it's fair to say de Villiers had a lean run but he insisted he is in good touch and simply a victim of poor luck.
"But I'm past nagging about losing games of cricket‚ because that happens; it's happened quite a few times".

But tax authorities later found that some of the information presented in that settlement was incorrect, the prosecutors said. A prosecutor says he did not declare income from the use of his image rights in order to get an "illicit benefit".

But Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell by as many as 148 points to finish at 25,694.58 while Japan's Nikkei also declined 91.62 points. While, BSE Mid-cap Index closed up by 0.04% at 14,850, whereas BSE Small-cap Index closed up by 0.11% at 15,696.
"It is easier to say that, within the series, everyone is going to get a game", he said when asked how numerous new players could play.
Asked for the one thing he was looking for in the series against the Proteas, Morgan replied: "I'd like to see some of the younger guys come in and take their chance".
Both England and South Africa are resting key players ahead of the eagerly awaited four Test series, with some questioning the relevance of this curtain raiser in amongst what is already a long, grueling tour schedule for both sides.
"The hard stage is the criticism‚ hearing the negative stuff all the time".
The Champions Trophy was another in a long line of failures for South Africa's fans‚ but they shouldn't expect De Villiers to dwell on it like they might. "I've never been picking and choosing my games", he said. "The new season will be starting and I have to see how I fit in and move forward from there". I've mentioned this many times now, my focus is on the 2019 World Cup. The Twenty20 series against England would help Proteas to get back on the track.
De Villiers will hope his sentiments have rubbed off on the nine members of the Champions Trophysquad who will do duty in the T20s. Pakistan surprised all of us. We have taken some cricket things out of it but also from the mental point of view.
