Sanders attacks CNN, media in briefing

Anthony Scaramucci

"Wow, CNN had to retract big story on 'Russia, ' with 3 employees forced to resign", Trump wrote on Twitter early Tuesday.

Trump gloated over the news of the reporters' resignations, tweeting about it at 6:30 a.m. EDT Tuesday.

Of course he meant President Trump and referred to his recent tweets attacking CNN. "Those are the facts".

"On June 22, 2017, CNN.com published a story connecting Anthony Scaramucci with investigations into the Russian Direct Investment Fund", CNN said in a statement. On Monday, Haris and the editor and reporter of the piece, Eric Lichtblau and Thomas Frank, resigned from CNN. On Tuesday, he also retweeted a graphic of CNN's logo, changed to read "FNN" or "Fake News Network".

The story was published on CNN's website, but not used on-air, the network said.

This video is just the first from Project Veritas in the American Pravda series, and they plan to release more in the coming days with other shocking revelations.

The increase of CNN's daytime audience more than doubled and its prime-time audience jumped 70 percent previous year during Trump's presidential campaign.

County receives $1.94M from feds
For 2017 the Department of the Interior added about 202 additional federal acres and awarded Teton County about $26,000 more. Despite having nearly 1.5 million acres of federal lands, the less populated Rio Blanco County will receive about $553,000.

Of course, one individual was lapping this news up like a White Russian: President Twitter-fingers, who had a straight up FIELD DAY tweeting about the "failing!" outlet's journalistic error.

CNN's Jim Acosta gets into nearly daily skirmishes with White House press secretary Sean Spicer over questions about the administration's transparency. The White House believes that the media should review anonymously sourced stories on alleged ties between Moscow and US President Donald Trump and retract the hoax ones, a spokesperson has said.

O'Keefe said Project Veritas got the video last Friday and that a portion, in an elevator, was recorded at CNN's headquarters.

The story was about a supposed investigation into a pre-inaugural meeting between a Trump associate and the head of a Russian investment fund. CNN accepted the journalists' resignations Monday. CNN's public relations staff refuted Trump's notion that the network is hurting, saying it is completing the most-watched second quarter in the network's history. The law firm of one victim recently sued O'Keefe, alleging violation of a federal wiretap law. Scaramucci, in the story, said he exchanged pleasantries in a restaurant with Dmitriev.

A source close to CNN told BuzzFeed that the story's publication was a "massive, massive f-- up and people will be disciplined".

CNN and the other fake news sites are likely going to tone down the importance of this video evidence, but the cat is now entirely out of the bag.
