New Twitter update lets you mute even more trolls

The 'advanced filter settings' will now have options to mute notifications from accounts the want to avoid

Users can also choose to mute notifications from users who haven't confirmed their phone number or email address as part of today's update. The new updated feature meant to give the users more control however does not block people; it just makes sure that one doesn't receive notifications from them. And now that comes on Twitter platform.

The microblogging website said its "advanced filter settings" will now have options for users to mute notifications from accounts that they do not follow as well as from accounts that do not follow them.
