'GLOW' has been renewed by Netflix for a second season

The show follows the lives of the titular "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" and is inspired by the real-life sports show that briefly aired on United States television during the 1980s.

Netflix has renewed GLOW, its comedy-drama about 1980s female wrestling for a second season.

The series follows Ruth Wilder (Community's Alison Brie), a struggling actress who gets a second shot when she winds up auditioning for a spot on Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
