Two people were hurt after a plane crashed upon landing at the Ashland County Airport Saturday morning.
The single-engine airplane crashed around 10 a.m. Friday near Lyons Highway between Sand Creek Highway and Gorman Road in Madison Township.
The crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. during Veterans Appreciation Day at the airport, Ashland County Sheriff Chief Deputy Carl Richert said. The plane broke apart in the crash, with part of it caught in a tree, Undersheriff Bevier said. The woman was able to get out of the plane and walk to the road, where she flagged down a driver to call 911. Both were found hanging inside of the plane, he said.
Roberto Aguayo Missed His First Extra Point Of The Season
Asked if he thought he may have cost himself a job with Friday's performance, Aguayo said, "You wanted to come out and be ideal ". FSU coach Jimbo Fisher suggested a year ago changes to Aguayo's kicking routine may have contributed to his inconsistency.
The pilot and a passenger (a family member according to an event official) were taken to University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center with "non-life-threatening injuries", according to the sheriff's office.
