Jamie Carragher And Jamie Redknapp Have A Lively Argument On Liverpool's Defence

Southampton defender Van Dijk has been linked with a move to the Reds throughout the summer and handed in a transfer request at St. Mary's on Monday.
But speaking after the stalemate at Vicarage Road, Carragher argued that while Van Dijk is an improvement on Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren, he won't change Klopp's fragile setup.
Carragher voiced his concerns after the game, but Gary Neville couldn't help but aim a dig at the former Liverpool defender on Twitter shortly after Watford's equaliser.
Liverpool legend and former centre half Jamie Carragher has launched an all out assault on their defence, claiming no player on earth could improve it. That's what I think and that's why he wants to spend £60m on him. You've got a centre forward there at 5ft 10in against Okaka, the biggest unit you have ever seen.
He has already got off the mark in a red shirt, complimenting the three goals he scored over pre-season with a 62nd minute strike against Real Madrid on his competitive debut.
It takes their tally to 27 goals conceded from set-pieces during Jurgen Klopp's reign - the most racked up by any of the top-six during that period. Watford should've been one-nil up before the corner, nothing changes.
"Whether it's zonal marking, the players he puts in certain positions, the positions of the full-backs in general play are far too high and wide for me, which gets centre-backs exposed".
Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Manchester City
Brighton boss Chris Hughton: "For 70 minutes I thought we were good, there's only one way we can play against a team like City". I assure you that. "Hopefully next season I will be here and we are not going to spend how we have this season".
Facebook allows Moments-like app to be launched in China
Previously, the Chinese government blocked a number of products from Facebook, Inc.by dint of its Nazi internet policy. China, the world's largest market by internet users, is an attractive but challenging region for internet companies.
"But I don't care how good a centre-back, getting exposed on counter-attacks, you've got to cover the full width of the pitch, it's nearly impossible". The manager has been there 18 months now but there has been no change. That's what happened on the first goal - it comes from a counter-attack. It's not just players making one mistake, the whole system looks wrong and set-pieces are a mess.
"I don't care who is at centre-back, you can't do that much to stop those goals".
"I think Manchester United will be in there, they didn't make the top four past year but I think they will with the additions that they've made", he said.
'I think those two (Lovren and Matip) are not good enough.
The former Reds midfielder did, though, have some positive words for Sadio Mane, who made it 1-1 with as superb finish and threatened regularly, as he likened the Senegalese to former Arsenal star Thierry Henry. And Liverpool win that game if you have a player like Van Dijk at the back.
'There's a bit of energy and spark when he gets the ball and it's a wonderful goal'.
