Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Sunday Tehran will respond to any wrong steps related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal.
"They (US administration) have shown wickedness and malicious behaviour with regard to the JCPOA (nuclear deal) and the US regime is truly a vicious devil", Khamenei said, referring to the chain of sanctions by the Donald Trump administration against Iran, Xinhua news agency reported.
Iranian senior officials on Sunday warned against the USA "breach" of nuclear deal reached in 2015 and called for Washington's adherence to its pertaining commitments.
"Today, despite all the commitments and discussions in the negotiations, America's attitude toward these negotiations and their outcome is completely unjust and amounts to bullying", Khamenei said in a speech to Iranian military graduates.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei responded Sunday to US President Donald Trump's claim about Tehran violating the nuclear deal's "spirit".

The State Department announced on September 14 that it will continue to waive sanctions on Iran as part of the nuclear agreement, but no decision had yet been made on whether to preserve the deal itself. "They believe that a feast has been set out but that they are deprived of going to the table", Rouhani said before leaving Tehran for NY on Sunday to attend the upcoming UN General Assembly meeting.
On Saturday, Rouhani urged the European Union to press the United States to abide by its commitments to the nuclear deal reached in 2015, Tehran Times daily reported. The Iranian nation stands strong. The Iran deal is not a fair deal to this country.
"If the nuclear deal is discarded, Iran will be able to return to its previous status and grow even more powerful than the past before the time planned", he added.
The global agreement is facing a serious threat of collapse as tensions mounted between Tehran and Tehran recently.
