British Airways Plane Evacuated In Paris For Security Reasons

Passengers were set to fly on #British Airways flight BA303 from #Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to London Heathrow airport on Sunday morning.
He added: "Our pilot was an absolute credit to @British_Airways".
He said passengers have remained calm despite the situation.
James told metro.co.uk that initially the pilot said there were technical issues as the plane was held on the runway for an hour.
"Apparently an individual has made a direct threat to this aircraft".
British Airways wrote on its website: "We're very sorry, this flight has been delayed significantly".
"Every single person and every single item of baggage was searched".

Anderson told CNN they had not received any further updates from officials but that passengers were re-boarding the aircraft.
'That's when we noticed police and fire vehicles quickly surrounded the plane and dozens of armed officers and firefighters got out.
Authorities later cleared the flight for takeoff after completing security checks, the French national police said.
"The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our top priority", it said in a statement.
The security alert comes amid heightened tensions in the United Kingdom in the wake of the failed bomb plot on a District Line train at Parsons Green on Friday.
British Airways confirmed the incident aboard its flight and said it conducted additional security checks as a precaution.
'We would never operate a flight unless it is safe to do so'.
