Jose Mourinho Says Letting Wayne Rooney Go was "Easy"

Mourinho believes his side are now demonstrating a killer instinct they lacked last season, having averaged three goals per game so far in the Premier League - an improvement on their 1.42 goal ratio in his first campaign in charge.
Mourinho told Sky Sports that the decision was a no brainer, "easy" and it did not require much thinking.
He explained, though, why being able to plan pre-season to his specifications helps.
"I think sometimes the word "legend" is used too easily but that's not this case, he's a real legend in the club", the United manager said during his press conference, which was shared on the club's official Twitter account. The seller club is the club that decides the amount the buying club pays or doesn't pay.
Mourinho may be talking about players like Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez, who he claimed he wouldn't have sold had he been in Louis van Gaal's position.
