Of those killed were eight patients at a Hollywood nursing home who spent days in sweltering heat after Irma knocked out their air conditioning. He also said investigators will look into how many windows were open.
On Thursday, detectives were at the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills after receiving a search warrant to investigate the eight patients' deaths, which police believed were heat-related.
