To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the small egg-shaped digital pet the Tamagotchi will be released in the USA for $15 (~R203) but there's no word yet on whether the toy will be released in other parts of the world.
The Tamagotchi was released in 1996 in Japan and rolled out to the rest of the world in 1997.
Bandai America created a wave of excitement and huge demand for Tamagotchi when the device was introduced 20 years ago.
The device will be smaller than the original version, but will include all six of the Tamagotchi characters that you grew up loving.
The mini Tamagotchi devices have been launched with a suggested retail price of £9.99.
The Entertainer, Smyths, and Toys 'R Us will all have them in stock, should you be looking for a new/old way to interrupt important business meetings and generally not pay attention to people that are trying to talk to you.
Since its initial debut, the company said it's sold over 82 million Tamagotchis globally.
The new Tamagotchi toys will be smaller than their '90s counterparts, but should otherwise look and act the same to hit all the nostalgic notes you're hoping for.
