Apple Rumoured to be Developing Foldable OLED iPhone with LG

To the consumer, Apple and Samsung may be like two titans, embroiled in an eternal battle for their hard-earned cash but, behind the scenes, the two are not only partners but also heavily dependent on one another.
Samsung has said that it will release it's own "smartlet" - a phone which unfolds into a tablet - by next year.
Samsung is now the sole manufacturer of the OLED displays, NAND flash and DRAM chip in quantities required by Apple for its iPhones. Now Apple is seen moving to LG with foldable panels.
Apple and LG may be working together to develop the next-big-thing for Apple. The news comes after a patent was filed by Apple in February this year, describing a folding smartphone with a fabric cover. At the moment there was mention of company being faced with some difficulty in making the final product with foldable display, if the problem does not get solve soon then the handset arrival day may pushed back.
South Korean conglomerate Samsung raked in around Dollars 4 billion more in revenue from AppleiPhone X parts that it manufactures.
While the authenticity of the report can not be guaranteed at this time, Apple's design guru Jony Ive did however mention is a recent interview that Apple started working on the bezel-less iPhone X design 5 years ahead of its unveiling in September.
