Wonder Woman Gal Gadot

After conquering the global box-office with her portrayal of Princess of Themyscira in Patty Jenkins" "Wonder Woman', Gal Gadot is now all set to star in a post-World War II revenge thriller.

In addition to 2019's Wonder Woman 2, Gadot is also appearing in November's superhero ensemble Justice League, an undated Justice League Part 2, and 2020's Flashpoint, as well as underwater exploration thriller Deeper, which is being directed by Kornél Mundruczó of Cannes-winning White God fame and has Bradley Cooper as its co-star.

The film is being produced by Landis and David Goyer, and if a deal can be closed between Gal and the studio fairly soon, filming will begin in early 2018. The plot of Ruin involves a guilt-ridden ex-Nazi on a mission through the wreckage of post-war Germany to find and kill the remaining members of his former SS death squad. Justin Kurzel will direct Ruin, described as a revenge thriller in the vein of Fury or Inglourious Basterds, from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

Kurzel is the man behind the recent Assassin's Creed movie adaptation, as well as the big-screen Macbeth, both of which starred Michael Fassbender.

It remains unclear what role Gadot may take in the film, and no other casting announcements have been made as yet.

If Gadot does sign on for this movie, let's hope her character is front and center of the action where she belongs!
