Necrozma Gains New Forms, Z-Moves in Pokemon Ultra Sun, Moon
Oct 13 2017 by Michele Stevens
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon follow in the footsteps of other enhanced versions like Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Emerald by introducing more content and features on top of the original base package. While players originally thought the games would be too similar to last fall's games, recent trailers suggest that this new game is going to be a wildly different experience.
The story in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon centers around the Legendary Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala. Houndoom will be exclusive to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Manectric will be exclusive to Ultra Moon.
The new trailer (seen above) confirms that each of Necrozma's new forms will have its very own Z-Move. Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma will learn Searing Sunraze Smash, and Lunala and Dawn Wings Necrozma will learn Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. Both moves have either legendary bring their opponent into another dimension before hitting them with a damaging attack.
United States not in World Cup? Intolerable!
After American soccer's Waterloo, the fallout nearly surely will lead to a new coach and possibly a new USSF head. While fans fulminated over the front office, the next national team coach must instigate a ruthless roster purge.
It's also worth pointing out that Necrozma, whether fused to Solgaleo/Lunala or not, will have a new move that is exclusive to it. Photon Geyser is a new Psychic-Type move that can deal substantial damage to an enemy and dictates how much by determining which of the Attack or Special Attack stats are higher (per PokemonDB). Alola Island Challenge will be returning to Pokemon Ultra Sun And Moon and will also be a part of the main quest in the game. The abilities will be unlocked via a "Roto Loto" feature that gives out the abilities at random. Points or prize money that players will receive for a set period of time, while others might make it easier to catch Pokémon or have other effects.
The trailer also shows some great new features from Rotom and it's not just the ability to use two Z-Moves in one fight.
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon launch November 17 for the 3DS system family.
