Former welterweight champ Robbie Lawler has been booked to take on former lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos in the Canadian city, the UFC announced Thursday. The event's main card, including the Lawler vs. dos Anjos headliner, airs live on FOX following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. In June, dos Anjos earned a decision win over former Strikeforce champ, Tarec Saffiedine. "Ruthless" fought Donald Cerrone this past July at UFC 214 to a unanimous decision after taking a year off from being inside the Octagon.

Dos Anjos, meanwhile, last fought at UFC 215, also in Canada, when he dominated long-time contender Neil Magny to a first-round submission win.

ESPN.com ranks Lawler and dos Anjos the Nos.

Lawler, a former welterweight champion and current No. 1 contender, will take a 28-11 record with one no contest into the fight.
