Xbox One X first week sales equal those of Nintendo Switch

No Official Xbox One X Bundles Will Be Released This Holiday

Last week Microsoft's latest video console, the Xbox One X, released across the globe - delivering a premium gaming experience in a high-end package.

Given that the Xbox One X did not launch with a new game created to show it off at its best, these sales are impressive for a mid-generation update. Achieving significant advancements in graphical processing power, the console debuted as the most powerful on the market, pushing 4K resolutions, HDR content and other visual enhancements.

Retailers have shared the data that reveal that Microsoft's Xbox One X is well ahead of the PS4 Pro sales during its first week which did just a little over 50,000 back in November. The figure is equal to the number of Switch consoles Nintendo sold when the console launched in March. No sales figures are available for other regions at this time, but if the Xbox One X proves as popular with the United States market as it has in the UK, then the Xbox One family could well receive another burst of life in its middle-age.

Samsung has announced a new processor for Galaxy S9
So there is a chance the Galaxy A series for 2018 could come with a new "Infinity Display " without any home button on the front. From then, Samsung's been launching multiple Galaxy A smartphone models yearly, and it looks like this won't change in 2018.

In many ways, Xbox One X is the culmination of years of trying to fix the Xbox brand.

The folks at Digital Foundry attempt to find that out by comparing the graphics of both consoles using Sledgehammer's recently-released Call of Duty: WWII, which you can check out for yourself in the video above.

It is more than likely that this bundle will be restocked in the upcoming weeks in order to compete with the Xbox One X. You still need to buy games on the Xbox One X in order to take advantage of the superior hardware that it has to offer.
