He not only loved children but engaged with them time to time. Today is his 128th birth anniversary. The universal children's day was celebrated on 20th November, But after the death of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964 India made a decision to celebrate Children's day on 14th November. Here is one simple speech for school children, on "Children's day". Nehru is known for his careful and loving attitude towards Children.
Prime Minister Nehru said, in a fighting radio address directed to India's officers and men on December 10th, said the nation was fully behind them. On this day, children are treated specially across the country and are allured by gifts, candies to mark the day. They are staying with the positive innocent truth and growing with moral values. On this day, the State and the Central Government also make it a point to showcase children's films as part of Film festivals organized in many parts of the country.
Children's Day is also observed as International Day for Protection for Children in many nations on June 1.
Children's Day: Nehru was born on November 14, 1889 and is affectionately referred to as Chacha Nehru. For better and bright future each and every child has to do hard work that's what Chacha Nehru teaches and believed in children. May you always find something to laugh about.
