TSU Football Player Expelled After Violent Incident During Game

Senior defensive end Latrelle Lee was involved in an altercation with TSU strength and conditioning coach T.J. Greenstone while on the sideline during last Saturday's game versus Southeast Missouri.

According to the Tennessean, Greenstone was walking down the sideline telling players get back up while the offense was on the field just prior to the incident. Lee is seen in videos hitting Greenstone twice on the side of his head.

Greenstone recovered somewhat from the first punch, but Lee's fist returned nearly immediately, sending the couch down to the ground.

A former football player at Vanderbilt, Greenstone has been with the team for four seasons. "We are committed to supporting the coach who was personally affected and our concern now is with him".

The 22-year-old Lee was expelled on Monday.
