Deepika Padukone : Nothing can stop release of 'Padmavati'!

However, amidst all the controversies and threats against the release of Padmavati, many Bollywood celebrities have shown their support towards Padmavati, including Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. To the latest, the protesters have broken into the theater and destroyed the assets there. The protestors from Karni Sena, an organisation of the Rajput community, pelted stones and broke windowpanes, gates and the ticket counter and even damaged some office furniture.
About 30 people were arrested in the case. If they protest democratically, no one will have an objection. The theater has stopped screening the trailer for now.
"As an industry, we are hoping the film gets a good release and people are able to watch the film and then decide", said the actor while speaking on the sidelines of the second edition of Lokmat Maharashtra's Most Stylish awards. And where have we reached as a nation?
Protestors, all over the country, have a problem with the film allegedly portraying Rani Padmini, played by Deepika Padukone, in a "bad light" and 'distorting facts and history.' Makers of the film have agreed to screen Padmavati for them once the film is certified by the CBFC.
"When I debuted, Saawariya (directed by Bhansali) and Om Shanti Om had released on the same day".
Several tweets also defended Deepika Padukone's right to speak and asked why the male actors of Padmavati - Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor - have been spared the sort of savaging that their female co-star is being subjected to.
However, the film fraternity is with Bhansali.
"It has been an incredible journey and we are literally counting the days". The director of the movie, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is professed tribute to the sacrifice, valor, and honor of Rajput queen Rani Padmavati. "Everything you want to do is coming with a pure heart and a pure intention". I have already rejected this claim and also given a written proof of this.
