Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meets Adityanath over Ayodhya issue

Summary: After much controversy over Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar meeting large number spiritual leaders from different religions in a bid to resolve the Ram Temple dispute, he has chose to visit the controversial site at Ayodhya on Thursday. Thirteen different appeals have been filed against Allahabad high court verdict that divided the 2.73 acres disputed land into three parts among Ram Lalla, Sunni Waqf Board, and Nirmohi Akhara.
"We welcome efforts of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar". The Supreme Court had however suspended the judgement in 2011. "But talks for an out of court settlement will not succeed till Muslim Personal Law Board is involved in talks", said Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali, a member of AIMPLB.
Previously, giving his inputs on the Ayodhya issue, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar while speaking to NewsX had said that this is not the first time an amicable solution to Ayodhya dispute is being ensured.
Ravishankar is scheduled to visit Ayodhya to meet various parties in the dispute on Thursday.
