Why Ben Affleck Chose To Play Batman

"Justice League", a team-up movie, will be followed by solo efforts. "Superman?' I have met him and we have crossed paths".

"I think the attractive thing is the connectivity". The Snyders have been working with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins on her sequel (slated for November 1, 2019), and director James Wan just wrapped Aquaman (out December 21, 2018), where "you'll get to see why he's so jaded", Momoa teases.

Batman, Wonder Woman and more.

"To be on the rooftop firing up the bat signal and not only having batman appear, but his merry little band too, it's great", JK Simmons, who plays "Commissioner Gordon", said.

With that in mind, Justice League's second (and downright hilarious) post-credits scene has surfaced online, and it's much more in line with Joss Whedon's directorial style - think of the zippy dialogue between Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the original Avengers - than the one featuring a certain masked vigilante. That means pushing not just Wonder Woman to the fore, but also Miller's Flash, Momoa's Aquaman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.

Now regarding Man of Steel 2, the article also says it isn't coming any time soon, with Charles Roven offering an update in that there is no script for Man of Steel 2 as of yet, but "various story ideas" are being kicked around.

"I wasn't laughing", Cavill chimes in.

Some of these characters might have been in The Lego Batman Movie (if Kite-Man was, anyone could have been) but that doesn't really count as an introduction.

Affleck has now portrayed the Caped Crusader in three movies, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and of course, Justice League.

"You don't do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it", he said.

While he ponders his own future as the Dark Knight, the actor does see a timeliness in Justice League's arrival now.

The 45-year-old star told USA Today newspaper: "We certainly are in need of heroes in 2017".

Adds Gadot: "People planned on making this movie 10 years ago, and even 20 years ago, and it just never happened".
