As if Niantic wasn't busy enough with Pokemon GO and the recently announced Harry Potter mobile AR game, the company is also planning to launch a new version of the game that put it on the map with Ingress Prime.

Ingress Prime brings in a completely redesigned user interface and sound design. Similar to Pokemon GO, Ingress places digital footprints in places of cultural importance like landmarks or public art around the world.

The mobile AR update which mixes the real world and smartphone screen animations is built on the foundation of the science fiction game Ingress, which debuted in 2012 and has been downloaded more than 20 million times.

Above: Ingress Prime is a reboot of Niantic's Ingress. An in-depth new user experience will introduce new and returning Agents to the Real World global game and battle between the Enlightened and Resistance factions. "With Ingress Prime, we're ushering in a new chapter of the game for our passionate fans who have been with us since the beginning as well as the next evolution of the experience for those new to Ingress".

In addition, an anime series set in the Ingress world is being developed.

"We took people and some of our attention off of Ingress after the Pokémon Go launch", Hanke said, "just because that game was going so strong that we had to beef up all aspects of it". We don't know much else about that though right now. Ingress Prime will launch sometime from 2018. "Luckily the community has stayed with us and remained strong, but we're excited now to have a fully-staffed team on Ingress". There are a few advantages that derive from this, such as the fact that Ingress Prime can benefit from a few new technologies like ARCore (Google) and ARKit (Apple), but it will also make it much harder (or impossible) for players to cheat the game system.

Stocks Likely To Jump On Passage Of Tax Reform Bill
Financial stocks, which analysts also expect to be winners from the tax overhaul, likewise climbed 1.6 percent. The strong gains earlier in the year led some skeptics to say that tech stocks had become overly pricey.

Shaun Livingston ejected after making contact with an official
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr noted after Sunday's win that Livingston was already going to sit the game to rest. Without Livingston, Golden State will likely only have one true point guard, Stephen Curry, available.

EA Changes Star Wars Battlefront 2 Credit System
Another change is that you can earn three times more credits in the offline Arcade mode. They are still improving on this area though so more changes could come in the future.
