Earthquake of 5.5 magnitude hits Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand; epicentre East Dehradun

A strong quake that was estimated to measure 5.5 on the Richter scale struck Uttarakhand around 8:50 pm on Wednesday.

Strong natural disaster of 5.5 magnitude on richter scale has hit New Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday evening.

Tremors were also felt in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla, Kullu and Mandi.
