CSKA Moscow lost 1:2 to UK's Manchester United in the final round of the UEFA Champions League qualification stage yesterday night.

But Dortmund, like Atletico and Napoli, was very bad in the Champions League play, only registering two points via draws with APOEL.

FC Basel are also through, defeating Benfica 2-0 to finish second in Group A.

However, the easy paths each team took to the Round of 16 must be taken into account.

On this evidence, the group runners-up, including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, could do worse than to avoid Liverpool in Monday's last-16 draw.

Manchester United and Liverpool qualified as group winners too, with Jurgen Klopp's side clinching top spot in Group E with their emphatic 7-0 thrashing of Spartak Moscow on Wednesday.

Teams that already met in the same group or are from the same country can not be drawn against each other on Monday.

Millions of babies are breathing in toxic air, UNICEF report says
Of these 17 million babies, about 12.2 million live in South Asia while 4.3 million babies live in East Asia and the Pacific. Rees said masks help "but very importantly they have to have good filters and they also have to fit children's faces well".

That leaves only Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Besiktas as Chelsea's options.

On the other hand, Italy's A.S. Roma has advanced to the round of 16 as group winners along with Paris St-Germain, despite their 1-3 defeat in Munich.

Real Madrid's possible opponents: Manchester United, PSG, Rome, Liverpool, Manchester City and Besiktas.

But with the January transfer window opening in less than four weeks, a host of Premier League scouts will have been more occupied with casting their eyes over European football's brightest talents. Everton, though, failed to reach the group stages, losing in controversial fashion to Villarreal in the third qualifying phase.

And while Tottenham had the best showing in the Champions League group stage of any club, their success domestically has waned, falling to sixth place, four points out the final Champions League berth.

Round of 16 first-leg games are played from February 13-21.
