Game Awards 2017: Bayonetta 3 announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch

PlatinumGames first launched Bayonetta in 2009 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Bayonetta 3 will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Bayonetta 3 is now in development for Nintendo Switch, while the first two titles will arrive for the system on February 16th, 2018. IT is being developed by Platinum Games, maker of the other Bayonetta games. It was announced with a trailer at The Game Awards tonight, and we'll have to wait for press releases to get any actual details. Bayonetta 2 is the physical release, while Bayonetta comes as digital download.

Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime took the stage just moments ago at The Game Awards, following the announcement that Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 would be coming to Nintendo Switch in February 2018.
